I'm Kelly, a 22 year old, Florida State University graduate from Okeechobee Florida! I love traveling, skeet and target shooting, riding reining and western pleasure horses, and promoting the great sport of rodeo!
In October of 2015 my dream of becoming Miss Rodeo Florida came true! I am truly blessed to have worked with amazing mentors and sponsors. Thank you to my parents for supporting me on this venture. My reign will begin January of 2016 and we will hit the ground running! I will use my Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Florida State University and my experiences in the rodeo industry to promote the sport I love. My goal is to engage people that have never experienced rodeo before and to grow the sport of rodeo in Florida. There are actually people who don't believe we have rodeos in Florida. I'm going to work on that. This year I will participate in media interviews, visit schools and hospitals, be involved in community events, travel to rodeos all over the state and country, and represent the great state of Florida at the 2016 Miss Rodeo America Pageant in Las Vegas. I've been a rodeo secretary, a rodeo queen, and most of all an ambassador of this amazing sport.
